This course is designed to help students develop the skills they need to pass Part II (OSCE) of the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada’s (PEBC) Qualifying Examination. Structured over 5 days this course includes a mix of classroom instruction, role playing, individual and group exercises. The program focuses on the most heavily weighted portions on the exam, including communication skills and competency in delivering pharmaceutical care. Three simulated OSCE examinations are held on the last three days of the course, complete with patient actors and practicing pharmacists as evaluators.
