- Prior CPR or First Aid certification is not required.
- You must be willing to receive an injection or bring a volunteer to take your place.
- Bringing a volunteer is mandatory if you are pregnant.
- If you are bringing a volunteer, email info@pharmachieve.org at least 4 business days before the session so they can sign a liability waiver.
- If you are the only registered student, we will notify you so you can either bring a volunteer or reschedule.
Accreditation
Recognized by Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities across Canada including the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a prerequisite to providing injections.

9. Adverse Events Following Immunization

13. Immunization Issues
14. Legal and Ethical Aspects of Immunization
15. Essential Competencies for Injection of Other Substances (Part I - Online)
- Live physical session led by an instructor
- Take turns with a partner to administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injection
- Participate in a Q&A session
- Takes approximately 2 hours to complete
- Module 15 must be completed before attending the session
- Multiple-choice exams on each of the modules (minimum passing grade of 70% with a maximum 4 attempts)
- Practical exam where student demonstrates of proper injecting techniques (intramuscular and subcutaneous)
