Prerequisites & Considerations
  • Prior CPR or First Aid certification is not required.
  • You must be willing to receive an injection or bring a volunteer to take your place.
  • Bringing a volunteer is mandatory if you are pregnant.
  • If you are bringing a volunteer, email info@pharmachieve.org at least 4 business days before the session so they can sign a liability waiver.
  • If you are the only registered student, we will notify you so you can either bring a volunteer or reschedule.

Physical Workshop
  • Live physical session led by an instructor
  • Take turns with a partner to administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injection
  • Participate in a Q&A session
  • Takes approximately 2 hours to complete
  • Module 15 must be completed before attending the session
Assessment
  • Multiple-choice exams on each of the modules (minimum passing grade of 70% with a maximum 4 attempts)
  • Practical exam where student demonstrates of proper injecting techniques (intramuscular and subcutaneous)
