Course Outline
This course helps pharmacists develop the knowledge and skills required to prepare and administer intradermal injections, covering scope of practice and possible indications. Please note that New Brunswick College of Pharmacists policy requires pharmacists to be authorized for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections before attending this training. - The live component is a two-hour instructor-led session where participants engage in a question and answer period and practice administering intradermal injections with a partner.
- Students must complete a multiple-choice and short answer test covering the course topics
- A minimum grade of 70% is required to pass the written portion. Up to four attempts are provided to achieve a passing grade
